From empty floor to your first aerospace work package.

Schuster sets up aerospace parts factories as turn-key projects. We plan and equip the plant, take it through certification, and help win its first production work packages. It is one of the fastest ways into the aerospace market.

Why now

Aerospace is in a long growth cycle. The barriers to entry are high, and getting past them takes proven experience.

The aerospace industry is in a period of long-term growth, and we offer one of the fastest ways into it. We set up the plant from concept to operation, lead you through certification and qualification, and support business development, marketing and sales. Our goal is to secure your first production work packages from leading international aerospace companies, and to help you build a business that stays competitive.

The Schuster three-phase model

One team from the layout drawing
to the first purchase order.

Three phases, run by one team: the production floor first, then certification, then marketing and sales.

Phase 01

A factory designed around flow.

We advise on all the infrastructure the plant needs and lay out the production floor so people, materials and production lines flow efficiently.

  • Machines, system integration and inspection tools
  • Raw-material suppliers who are already qualified
  • An operation that can scale
  • A floor that is ready for audit

Packages

Three ways to work with us

We work across aerospace and defence: OEM manufacturing, field-ready systems and aircraft conversion programs.

For governments and public bodies

Aviation Park

One plant, or a whole aerospace industrial park. For countries that want to build an aerospace sector: qualified subcontractors, a vocational training centre, service providers, and the runway and test facilities to go with them.

For MRO and fleet operators

MRO Package

We set up workshops that make, repair and reverse-engineer aircraft parts. They suit conversion programs, MRO organisations and older fleets in places where spare parts are hard to get. Includes staff training and authorisation, an equipment list and the minimum stock of raw material.

For freight operators

P2F Solutions

Passenger-to-freighter conversions. Our team is FAA-certified in the US to engineer and manufacture the conversion kits, and has delivered complete tubing sets for the Boeing 767 P2F program.

Track record

Factories our team has built.

2012 · IndiaGreenfield

Our first plant in India: rigid aviation tubes

$400M+current company valuation
0 → 450employees

A greenfield start in 2012. It has since grown into a highly successful aerospace manufacturer.

2007 · IndiaWiring

India's leading wiring & harness plant

$60M+annual revenue

The company now runs plants in several countries and is preparing to list on the Indian stock exchange.

2016 · Boeing 767P2F

Tubing sets for the 767 freighter conversion

A full production operation for complete tubing sets to Boeing standards, with full traceability and on-time delivery.

RomaniaScale-up

A wiring line for a global aerospace company

4 → 170employees

Floor layout, work instructions and procedures, procurement support and engineering services.

Boeing 787Composites

A complete composite structural section

A greenfield line for a full 787 structural section, set up after an extensive training program at Boeing in the US.

CanadaPower gen

Tubes and manifolds for a ground power unit

Piping and nozzles for jet engines used as generators, kept running through the plant's handover from Rolls-Royce to Siemens.

RetrofitWiring

Aircraft rewired to Western standards

We replaced Russian-standard wiring throughout, covering engineering, production and quality assurance.

MaterialsAluminum

An aerospace-grade aluminum plant

A full-scale plant producing aluminum to the requirements of leading aircraft makers, with full traceability.

FAA · USAConversion

P2F conversion kits

Our team is FAA-certified to engineer and manufacture the kits that turn passenger aircraft into freighters.

MROBoeing standard

An insulation blanket line

Process design, quality assurance and production support for a blanket department in a maintenance centre.
